High Level Competitive Water Polo (those who have played 15+ years and many at national/international level). These practices are co-organized by UBC Water Polo (a student-only club) and Vancouver Senior Water Polo (a non-student club) and are scheduled throughout the year. These practices are at the UBC Aquatic Centre. These are the best attended sessions for competitive adults in the GVA.
There are also often options to train with a regional team such as Pacific Storm, Fraser Valley Water Polo, or the Surrey Orcas. These practices often include playing with younger and developing youth players.
Intermediate Level Water Polo For those newer to the sport from September to April there are intermediate level that practices are co-organized by UBC Water Polo (a student-only club) and Vancouver Senior Water Polo (a non-student club). These practices are at the UBC Aquatic Centre.
For intermediate players and adults who are brand new to the sport, the Whiskeyjacks are an LGBTQ-friendly water polo club. The Whiskeyjacks are an amazing club and super fun and friendly. More information can be found here
